Pretty as a flower

Not really been drawing too much lately, which is a sadness. Too tired from a sudden increase in work hours and general stress. Gonna have to start bringing my sketchbook to work with me.

I present instead Vanay, my mid '09 impulse purchase corn snake. I am so glad I bought her. She was the ugliest little thing then, and has turned into one of the loveliest corns out there (In my not at all biased opinion. )

She's got some plum tones in her silver/gray so I decided to throw her on the ornamental plum tree near my house. This image came out the best.
